1 medium-sized crab is enough for 2 people, 1 large one for 4 people. Feel the crab when you buy it and if it feels surprisingly ligt for its size, ask the fishmonger to break it open – for „lightness“ often indicates that it is „watery“ and you are not getting good solid crab meat.
