Frosted chocolate pudding

1. Blend cornflour with a little cold milk.
2. Bring rest of milk, with grated chocolate, to the boil.
3. Add to cornflour and return to heat with 2 oz. of the sugar and cook until thick.
4. Cool slightly add egg yolks and complete cooking without boiling for 10 minutes.
5. Pour into dish.
6. Whip egg whites, fold in last of the sugar.
7. Pile on chocolate mixture and set in a moderate oven (375°F) for 10 minutes.
8. Serve at once.

Ingredients:

1 pint milk
3 eggs
1 oz. cornflour
4 oz. grated chocolate or 2 oz. chocolate powder
5 oz. sugar

Cooking time: 25 minutes
