1. Cut up the chicken into pieces for serving.
2. Fry these for 1 – 2 minutes with the chopped bacon.
3. Add butter.
4. Sprinkle with flour, stir well and add chopped onion.
5. Cook on for 2 or 3 minutes, then add peeled tomatoes and sage.
6. Season well with salt and pepper, put on the lid and cook gently for about 25 minutes, shaking the pan now and again.
Ingredients:
small young chicken
2 oz. bacon
1 oz. flour
1 or 2 leaves of sage
1 oz. butter
1 small onion
5 tomatoes
salt
pepper
